Diapason is a digital media organizer. It uses a built-in relational database to associate richly-structured metadata with your media files. With Diapason, you may choose items in your media collection (audio, video, etc.) based on title, composer, performer, etc., and play them on your media player.

It's not a media player – it's an organizer which works with existing media players, such as Winamp, and it works on different operating systems, such as Windows, Linux, and Macintosh.

Diapason is open-source software developed by Bob Woodbury, and is hosted on SourceForge. It is entirely free. You can download Diapason and its user documentation from the links below:
